April's Birthstone- Diamond
Aries (March 21-April 20)
Properties: a symbol of stability. Made of carbon, it's a stone that comes in a range of colors. It has the greatest thermal conductivity, so a sizable diamond feels cold or like ice. One of the hardest minerals, it can be used for cutting and polishing.
Proper care of a diamond: because they can scratch themselves or others gems, they should be stored alone in a jewelry case or soft pouch. Clean with ultrasonic (professionally) or liquid cleaner with a soft bristle brush.
